From the multi-cultural club, to a variety of sports, to the gamers club and culinary club, there is literally something for everyone at PHS. The staff at PHS really care about the students and value creating spaces where each person can express themselves and make the most of their high school experience. We are a large school with a small school 'feel' in that everyone seems to know and respect each other! Our student body is culturally diverse as well as having a wide range of people with different interests. Junior: It is amazing to be a part of the student body at Prairie High School. Ty to my educators and peers for giving me a good highschool experience. The transition between middle school to highschool felt much cleaner to me than it has for students who attend different schools and districts, and that is super amazing to me. However, overall I am so grateful for what a wonderful school RHS is. The only downsides to attending RHS is that the overcrowding of students is hard to navigate sometimes, and the large amount of students kind of creates some divisions.
The staff here care about their students, which is really appreciated. I have never had such amazing teachers who have actually taught me as much as the ones I have had here. The teachers here have mostly been amazing too. I feel like at this school there is a group of people for everyone, and down every hallway you can find a friendly face. With large selections of classes, clubs, and other after school activities I am proud to call myself a spud. Sophomore: Ridgefield is honestly an amazing school. The unwavering support of the community, the exceptional programs of study, and the dedication of the faculty have created the ideal high school environment.
HeLa has undoubtedly shaped me into the individual I am today. Whether in the classroom, studying alone, or participating in extracurricular activities, I have consistently encountered a welcoming environment that encourages collaboration, teamwork, and mutual respect. The students and staff are diverse, talented, and incredibly supportive. Henrietta Lacks High School fosters a strong sense of belonging and inclusivity. From the moment I stepped through its doors, I felt a profound sense of community, an atmosphere of academic excellence, and a genuine passion for the sciences. Junior: As a proud student at Henrietta Lacks Health and Bioscience High School in vibrant Vancouver, WA, I cannot help but gush about the incredible experiences and opportunities that this esteemed school has provided me.
